Skylab Space Station

The Skylab space station was launched on May 14, 1973 aboard the last Saturn-5 launch vehicle. Three crews were launched on May 25, July 28 and november 16, 1973 for stays of 28, 56 and 84 days respectively. The U.S.Postal service issued a Skylab commemorative on May 14, 1974. The illustrated cover was autographed by the stamp designer, Robert McCall.
