Received an email that I can only put 100 stamps or more at a time in a book. I like to just do 25 or 30 per book. Why can't I do that any more? Frank

re: Approvals

The answer is: you never could. Books always had to offer a substantial selection of stamps and mimic the APS circuit books.

"The answer is: you never could."

I hope you will pardon the intrusion, I know what you meant, but this answer could give the wrong impression. eugen01 just finished saying that he did exactly that - enter books of 25-30 stamps.

The correct answer is that it has always been against both the spirit and the rules of the Approval Books, but until now the rules have not been enforced during an initial "experimental" period. The experimental period is now over, results have been analyzed, rules have been tweaked and henceforth will be applied.

Follow the link in Jan-Simon's post for a full discussion.
