Hi can anyone tell me something about these stamps? I am not sure where to find them. I can find the individual stamps - which are from different years- but I cannot seem to find this block of stamps. Does anyone know what year and what the proper terminology would be to identify this issue?
Jane,
The stamps are listed in Scott as B525 and B534. As usual Scott usually shows the first stamp of sets which means the collector has to do some detective work themselves. In the Zumstein catalog they are listed as 213 and 218.

Thanks everyone. These stamps came apart after a long soaking. I don't know whether to laugh from being a idiot or shamefaced for being a moron lol. Thanks so much for all your help
Jane, were it me, I'd laugh, but with great amusement. It was a perfect question; and i, of course, saw the utterly apparent overlap immediately (meaning once I read Michael's explanation).
It would be interesting to get an explanation for how the overlap occurred, as that's not a natural state. Were they CTOs? How else to explain? Anyway, it's all detective work and reflects more on how we see than anything else, and, coming from an artistic family, those differences are immense to a non-artistic guy.
