06:45:16am | As a collector of space covers, there are pictorial postmarks used to commemorate various events. One can find these postmarks in Linns Stamps and the Postal Bulletin. Both publications list the pictorial postmarks being offered by the sponsoring organizations. You have 30 days after the date of the cancellation to send your request. What most collectors do is to enclose a SASE with letter of request for the cancellation. Following are scans of some pictorial postmarks in my collection.
