Here is the cover. Pretty straight forward as far as I can tell. Mailed from Hoya (Hoya County) November 21.

I can't figure out what this transit/marking is saying though, which is on the back dated November 22.

Possibly and abbreviation for Ausburg?

Only if somebody made a horrible mistake. Hoya and Bremen sit on the same river. Augsburg is 500+ miles away.

It is AUSG. / No. 1 (?) for "Ausgabe" meaning "Rcvd." in this context here.

So an overnight trip down the Weser from Hoya to Bremen. Sounds like fun. Day Dreaming

Thank you Arno.

Antonio

PS This cover is part of my Cover the World postal history collection, with the idea of having a piece of postal history from every stamp issuing authority.

Antonio,
I too once had the same ambition to collect at least one cover from all countries. I gave up on this plan several years ago and I bet I have some stuff for you.

This is more especially one of those collecting areas where it is about the journey, not the destination.
