Now here's the story: King Arthur was sending out his knights to try and slay a dragon
but the dragon kept killing all the horses they rode until there the stable was empty.
The only animal left was a really big mangy old Great Dane. They thought about sending someone out on it but the king said No. be the first to tell me the reason he said no and win the prize, I'll even pay the S&H to U.S. or Canada.

Each knight would have his own horse. As a result, anyone who would have been sent out on the dog would also have been killed by the dragon (because they wouldn't be a knight).
