Author Postings smauggie 03 Apr 2014 10:35:09pmHere's a cover from a post office that closed in 1918.
Of course, it is a philatelic cover, but a nice find from the dollar box. Login to Like this postcanalzonepostalhistory.wordpress.com amsd Editor, Seal News; contributor, JuicyHeads 04 Apr 2014 04:54:58amAuctions re: Fort Snelling, MN Cover - Fort Snelling Sesquicentennial Antonio,

I suspect if I knew what the "329BPO" meant that might help me understand the cover better. BPO might stand for Base Post Office.

The cemetery there is still actively used for the final resting place of Minnesota servicemen.
