Sorry moderators. I tried to put this in the most reasonable place I could think of.
I have LOTS of used US stamps and a few foreign, mostly on paper, along with a few other items of various philatelic curiosity. I keep a box under my desk and throw interesting items in it and once every year or two send it to a stamp club that uses the material to help new collectors get started. My contact has disappeared so I need a new place to send a donation. Any suggestions for a place that would get the most out of my donation?

re: Lots of mostly US stamps
I have no problem with the post here as it is not really an offer to sell or trade. As for ideas:
Veteran hospitals usually seek collectibles (locations in all states)
Boys Town used to seek donations - probably still do http://www.boystown.org/locations
Local Boy Scout, Girl Scout and youth organizations may have need of such
And, of course, do not forget the schools

I thought I saw mention here of some project looking for lots of stamps for some charitable project or another. I can always send them to the stamp club in Nashville, but I don't know them and don't know where the stamps actually go. (I have their address because I went to ONE stamp show over 10 years ago).
I thought I would offer the stamps here if there is a good charitable cause going on. I like to at least give right of first refusal to the folks I share information with.

The charitable cause is the Holocaust Project (you can search for Holocaust in a key word search). The stamps you send are destroyed as they are pasted to form art works, so do not send anything really valuable.
