Any help with this problem would be appreciated. I uploaded page one of my book yesterday and it went OK but today the upload keeps failing and no error message is given. I just get a blank page header returned after the upload is finished but no page two is visible.
It is not a size problem as the picture is a bit smaller that the one I uploaded yesterday.

Thanks

Bob

Dear Bob,
As a self appointed master of the computer gremlins I can say with assurance that it is retribution for your not posting U.S.Revenue items.
Just saying!!
Best,
Dan C.

Would you post the solution here, as it might help others if they encounter this problem too? Thanks.

re: Upload of new approval page keeps failing.

I am finding that most of the upload problems stem from image sizes. Tim has suggested before that if you scan at 100 dpi, 99% of your problems never happen. Since I prefer 200 dpi, I occasionally have size problems and have to adjust. If you do have to adjust the size of your image, resize it to 900 pixels wide, it should load and still retain crispness and clarity. However, if after resizing, the height of your image is greater than 1230 pixels, it will still not load and you may have to adjust the size a little more. Optimal size for a full page is approximately 900 pixels x 1200 pixels.

It is unnecessary to scan at a resolution greater than 200 dpi for the Approval books or Auction board.

Hope this helps.

BTW, if anyone needs special assistance, I am happy to talk you through the steps. If you reside in the USA, email me with your telephone number and we'll set up a time to work through the process. Outside the US, we'll have to rely on email unless you want to set up a Skype or Yahoo messenger call.

re: Upload of new approval page keeps failing.

Hi All,

I followed Bobby's advise as above and sized all my pics to 900 wide and have had no problems since. They look fine at that size and if you use Irfanview (a free program) to do this it is very easy.
