HI. I'm Dan..
Just getting back into the world of stamps now that I have got to a much more leisurely pace of life, after only a few years as a boy helping my Grandfather.
So Much to learn, so many pitfalls.
Anyway I have a huge accumulation dating back to 1834 and over the next few months will be sorting & selling on eBay & need as much help as I can get.
Certainly
Re-investing what sells and keeping a good selection for my daughter.
However, what she will inherit will be a collection with a value unlike what I have, a huge accumulation and a massive amount of sorting & researching.
Hi Dan
Last time I was in Great Yarmouth was 46 years ago ,if I remember right there were market stalls selling kippers.
My wife and daughter and I were holidaying in a caravan at Gorleston on Sea.
We used to live in Cleethorpes ,before emigrating to Australia in the early 70s,best move we ever made.
Don't miss the cold or the fogs that thick you couldn't see 2 feet in front of you and the snow, not that we don't have snow here but it's mainly in Victoria ,here in SA we very really see any.
Any way Dan you have found the best online stamp club, you will not meet a more friendly bunch of stamp collectors any were.
Welcome from an expat.
Brian
Thanks Guys.
Hey Brian, I live in Gorleston on sea! You can still buy Kippers (Bloaters) & even have them posted from the shop & the rain still comes down sideways.
& I might just give the auctions a try here thanks Ross
Had to comment as I spent some time in the UK. I'm in USA now, but have lived in Leiston, Suffolk, Little Bealings, Suffolk, and Elveden, Norfolk! I think I may have made it to Great Yarmouth a time or two.
