Where is the best place to find information on recent releases of US stamps? I am most interested in issue date and formats issued. Is this info available online via USPS after-the-fact? I only need to go back 2 or 3 years.

I just don't see it! I go to USPS.com, click on "Forms and Publications" at the bottom, click on "Postal Bulletin", and click on "2011 Issues". Where do I find the issue date and formats (sheet, booklet, coil) and printers (APU, SSP, AV, etc.) for each issue? I know that I will have to figure out the catalog number for myself.

In the left hand column (Bookmarks)of Postal Bulletins there is a heading 'Organization Information' there is a sub-header 'Stamp Services' click on the plus sign (+) and a drop down menu of stamp information is opened. Check the 'Stamp Announcements' all the info you require will be there.
You can also find information at the APS website at www.stamps.org, top left of banner click on "stamp collecting" then "US new issues". They have pictures, issue date and location, printer, whether it will soak or not, denomination, format, and Scott number. Their lists go back to 2010. Sally
That is a TREMENDOUS help! The only missing piece of the puzzle is trying to divine how White Ace will categorize some of the 2013 issues. I buy White Ace Commemorative pages every year and make my own definitive pages. For 2012 they decided Bonsai Plants were a Commemorative, but Aloha Shirts and Dogs at Work were a definitives!
Anyway, now I know an easy way to create my Definitive pages. Thanks, all!
