Hello Stamporamers. I've just arrived here and am looking forward to meeting everyone. I see a few familiar names from that other stamp forum - SCF - which I've thoroughly enjoyed for a couple a years now. I've not abandoned them, but things have changed there. There are still many good and informed folks over there and I'm sure it will continue to be a source of philatelic information.
However, this site was recommended to me, and after lurking for a while, I've liked what I've seen and read, and have made the plunge.
So thanks for having me, and let the games begin!

Welcome James! I'm relatively new here too, and found it very approachable and supportive. Look forward to your posts; tell us about your collection(s)!

re: Hello, I'm new here.
Nice to see you here, James. I haven't abandoned SCF either. Too many erudite stampers there, and I've never had a problem with the owners. So far as I'm concerned, it's their board, and they can do what they want with it.
A big SOR welcome to you, James. We're happy to have you aboard.

Zipper, we have a member whose "handle" is erudite, but he hasn't been very vocal or active here in the last few month's, or maybe I've just missed seeing his name. Hopefully he will see me talking about him and let us know he is still among the "active" members. LOL
