Back in 1988 I bought a kiloware of stamps from Finland. In that I found this. I washed it and asked around but never heard of any others. The stamp is only issued in a booklet of 6 different stamps, so some of the others should have this problem too.
Have any of you heard about, seen or own another one?

re: Finland 1986 Architecture missing red color error.
That is quite a change it has even dropped the value.I did a quick search of Scott#737 and them with each sub a-f and came up with nothing. I think the next thing is to find out what kind of red ink was used perhaps how it was soaked removed the red coloring. Good luck perhaps you have a new one for the catalog get it certified.

Thanks
I soaked it in medium warm water 40-45C and it didn´t have the red color when I threw it in along with the other stamps. I sorted the kiloware before washing so I only got one of each, that´s why I know.

According to my Facit this is listed as 993, SCN 937f and should have a red "160" placed on the upper right. Both walls facing the front of the stamp should also be red. The picture is of the Sakyla day-care center. Issued 19 April 1986
