Hi to all. My name is Mike and I live near Salisbury, NC. I have been a member of Stamporama since 2006 but have only visited the boards regularly within the past weeks. I intend to take a much more active role here at this time.
I personally collect pre-1900 Europe,British Commonwealth, US and Canada. Currently semi-retired, so I now have some more spare time to devote to my stamps and gardening. I have been selling online since about 2000, with over 6000 positive feedbacks from various sites.
I am simply amazed at the programming improvements that Tim Auld has done to the site and especially in the auction area. He is truely a WIZARD!!!!! And an all-around nice guy to chat with via email.
I intend to be an active auction seller with interesting lots to help my fellow collectors fill the spaces in their collections. I will also be a buyer of older material that fills my empty spaces. And, of course, join in more actively in the discussion area.
I am also open to some trading as I have a trading buddy whose online collection I regular send material to add to his collection. I have a complete set of the Scott 2008 catalogs here for reference.
Thanks for the chance to do this intro. You can message me thru the message system if you have any questions.

Mike - Welcome back. I just joined SOR recently and have been very pleased with the membership reception and support. Not sure I have a lot to offer in the stuff you look for, but will keep my eyes open to my pile of boxes. Never know what can pop up. And yes, I think Tim has done a fine job with this site. Accolades !!!!

Thanks for the reply, DSC. I have always found Stamporama to be an interesting place in the past and intend to increase my activity here greatly in the future.
My 1st post mentions a stamp buddy's online collection which I try to find items for. He is in the process of extending the years covered for a number of countries and I have access to his online Scott number wantlists that he creates when he has started. This way, I can send him material that he can mount and give a better presentation of his collection. If you wish, you can view his collection at...http://mitch.seymourfamily.com/mward/collection/mapindex.html

I activated your link to the Antonious Ra collection and urge everyone to give it a view. I have long been a fan of Mitchell's collection and you need to urge him to come on board Stamporama - I think he would enjoy it and we would enjoy his commentary.

Hi Bob...I can see that interest via the seller's screens. I JUST LOVE BEING ABLE TO LOOK AT 1 SCREEN AND SEE ALL THAT. No other site that I know of provides that ease. IT IS GREAT!!!!.
TIM AULD, you truly are a WIZARD!!!!!!!! Move over Harry Potter, you are not in the same league.
