My name is Dan and I have been collecting since I was knee high to just about everyone. My dad got me started on it over 60 yrs ago. I got out of sorts for a while and got re-hooked several years ago when I had a health issue that kept me out of work for a time. My interests were primarily United States everything and then I got hooked on Waterfowl (Duck) Hunting stamps and U.S. Revenues which has been my passion for the past several years. I also have Fish & Game. I have some Worldwide stuff, but it does not get much of my attention and you will see some of it get posted for sale because I need to make room for more quackers and honkers. I am a member of the Cape Coral Stamp Club and met fellow Stamporama members and decided to join the club. Looking forward to a new experience and great relationship with all. Sorry I do not have any photos of myself to upload. I will work on that.
Thanks to all who have taken the time to respond with a welcome, appreciated for sure. I am looking forward to making new friends with a stamp passion. We are getting to be a smaller breed of advocates for the hobby.
What part of SW Fla are you from? I'm familiar with the Ft Myers area. My sister lived over there for about 20 something years, my In-laws were there for several years, too.
Nice area and to a fellow Duck lover......welcome aboard!

Welcome from a fellow Floridian! (Orlando) My mother in law lives in Ft Myers (Shell Point near Sanibel) so we've been in Cape Coral a bit over the years. It seems I've seen a few Cape Coral stamp club members here. BOB
To you and anyone else that may be visiting the Ft Myers/Cape Coral area in the future. The Cape Coral stamp club meets the fourth Tuesday of every month, except December when there is a special event and no regular meeting/auction. Visitors are welcome and you can partake in the auction as well. Usually 75 to 100 lots up for sale at every meeting. Be glad to provide anyone directions if they want to attend.
Dan
