A Service Dog gives a person with a disability independence. Never approach, distract or pet a working dog, especially when (s)he is in harness. Never be afraid to ask questions to the handler (parent).

I have OS1 stamp without the overprint PORTO but I cannot find that listed in Scott unless I'm totally in la-la land. Can anyone give me a hand with that?

Try J189-J203(1946).

re: Austria -> Question re: Scott type OS1

Hi Kelly,

1946 Postage Due 'Occupation stamps of the Allied Military Government - overprint in black.

In Scott (2009) they are J189 to J203 depending on face value (all bar the final 2 min cat value).

Hope this helps,

Merv

Thanks guys but that was where I was looking. I have the 60g light olive green J200 which is listed as style OS1 *but* without the PORTO - i.e. just the plain stamp - no overprint. I must be losing it because I can't find the officials section amongst all the varieties of BoB in Austria.

(Once I leave Germany, I'm walking without a compass! LOL)

Try 4N14 (AMG Issue for Austria - just before the Austrian Offices Abroad section).

Ah, sorry I misread your original post. For some reason, I thought it said "with" instead of "without".
