Wow !!!!
If they were mine, I'd have to find someone who can translate the Hindi address and possibly whatever is on the obverse.

re: India pre-Stamped envelope from Gwalior State identification and value
Both are Queen Victoria era overprinted postal stationary items from Indian Conventional State of Gwalior. I do not have a catalog for reference but I will try to discern the info from the images and data available with me from other sources. The second item (postcard has the Type 2 overprint applied by the Government of India Central Printing Press, Calcutta. It has address in Marathi and Persian languages,
The first one (cover) has a red overprint and Galior State symbol printed on it and is addressed in Hindi to the Queen Mother (Rajmata Rajeshri Visnudinkar) in Basoda which was a part of Gwalior State during the British Period and it bordered the State of Bhopal (my birthplace).
Check the History of Gwalior State at Wikipedia and compare the dates with names on this cover you may be surprised by how much history this cover tells by itself. If possible please show the scans of other sides of these two items and I will try and translate.

Just remembered, if you can post the images at Stampboard (Glenn Stephens stamp chat board)you will got more concrete information as there are many India Postal History buffs out there. Someone will surely identify these and probably give you catalog details and prices too.

No luck! Can't decipher the Marathi language script of QV era - the postcard scan is upside down and that is all I can confirm
By the way the rulers of Gwalior state were Marathas and Marathi was spoken there during the period this card is from. Hindi became official language when the states were merged in 1948 after independence.
