I searched clear back to 2008 on this board and did not find what I am looking for. I want to try something new, at least to me, and that is to look for tagging. I know I need to obtain at least a short wave lamp, but I want one that has both short and long wave. I have researched all the appropriate places and found all kinds, with various price ranges. I do not want to spend a lot of money, but at the same time, I want one that works well and will last for a while. This question is for those of you who may have experience with ultra violet lamps. Short and simple, what are your suggestions, recommendations?
In my younger stamp collecting days, I purchased both the Lighthouse L85 shortwave and the L90 longwave. I have enjoyed them both. However, with the new technology, LED UV lights are becoming available for much lower costs.
