The past is a foreign country, they do things different there.

Lee:

You got it from me, first: buy low, sell high.

In London, Gibbons is a "must see"; in Dublin, visit the main PO.

Use any Internet search engine and you'll be tripping over stamp shops in Europe and in the UK of GB.

Call me if you run out of €€€ and £££.

Hi Lee
There is a great stamp shop in London just across the road from Stanley Gibbons ,forgot the name .
Also I would find out if there are any stamp shows in any of the places you intend to visit on my recent trip to the UK I found Stampex was on in London ,well worth the trip just to see the exhibits and all the dealers.
Hope you have a great time, and the weather is better than when we were there.

Get a copy of the Gibbon's glossy stamp magazine and glance through the classifieds. There are plenty of stamp shops in the UK.
