I will be taking the Discussion Board down tomorrow Saturday 9th of February between 7:00am and 9:00am to implement the changes to the Discussion Board topics. Our working group comprising Arno, Kelly, John, Alyn and David have done a fantastic job of revamping the discussion board. If you access the Discussion Board between these times and get unexpected results, come back in a couple of hours and try again.
I have completed the implementation of the new Discussion Board topics. All the Topics in the new Discussion Board display at the top of the list of Topics while the old Discussion Board topics are at the bottom. You will notice that the new Topics do not have very many postings in them. Our reorganization team will be moving and categorizing the Threads from the Old Board at the bottom of the screen to the new at the top. The old Discussion Board at the bottom of the screen will eventually go away.
You will notice the addition of the "For Sale (Members Classifieds)" sub-topic. This is a member to member classifieds section. If you have a list of philatelic items that you want to sell to other members you can post an advertisement here. Please read the rules for posting in the classifieds by clicking here. The rules can be found under the Home dropdown menu. There are two rules that I would like to call out.
1. Do not include links to other websites where you are selling material.
2. Do not include your contact information in the posting. These classifieds are for Member to Member sales. Fellow Members can look your contact information up in the Members Database.
