So glad you enjoyed the "Bounty" article published in Stamp Insider. I am the author of that article (as well as several others published in Stamp Insider last year).
Al Starkweather, the editor / publisher of Stamp Insider, assigned to me the research and wrting of that article when the Bounty replica disaster happened. A tragic situation, but it was some of the best fun I've had in some time composing a "stamp collecting" piece.
Certainly not because of my articles, for sure, but I think Stamp Insider is one of the best online stamp publications available. And it's FREE!

Randy-
After you mentioned how interesting the Pitcairn Islands were, I researched them and they are interesting. Is there any way you could post some album pages with their stamps? I'd love to see them!

Well, kudos then, for a fine, fine article....very informative!
And I agree with you - it IS one of the finest online philatelic 'mag-E-zines' I have seen!
Lisa -
Yes, they are interesting! 2 thousand miles from anywhere!
I would be happy to post some pages here - give me a day or so to do that, as I have my hands full right now with 5 projects that I'm juggling....I will post them as soon as I can.

Yes, more of Pitcairn, please, Randy.
I love looking at albums of stamp collectors, but this is too easy. Am always curious as to how others display their stamps and I'm not ashamed to steal good ideas from others.

re: Free Stamp Magazines!
Fabulous! Please do post more. I love that they only use two colors per stamp and yet they have intricate detail and are beautiful. Fascinating to collect....I might steak your albums ideas and your collection idea and start a Pitcairn collection of my own! Hope you don't mind!

I do know why, but the early definitive sets of Pitcairn have always been amonst my favorite stamps. Maybe the history buff in me...
