I just read that the Canadian Postal Museum, which has existed as a separate entity inside the Museum of Civilization, will close and its artifacts be part of the collection of the "new" Museum of History (formerly the Museum of Civilization).

The past is a foreign country, they do things different there.

Brian:

I do believe you meant to say, "Museum of Revisionist History".

Wow, I hadn't heard that. I was able to visit the museum and the museum of civilization back in August and really enjoyed it. But, honestly, the rest of the museum was better than the Postal Museum.

Although -- they had a room where every Canadian postage stamp was on display. The stamps made up a timeline from 1851 - 2012 and went around the entire room. That was extremely interesting to me.

I feel lucky that I at least got to see the Postal Museum while it was open. It hasn't been there for too terribly long.

I think this can be given a "Yes" and "No" answer. Here is a link to this latest update I received in another forum.

Hope this helps

I love to give a definite all encompassing "yes", no" or "maybe" answer that satisfies everyone.
