Hey guys, i have a question and I'm hoping someone has a Michel catalog (or specialized Vietnamese catalog to assist with this)
World Communication Year - 2nd Series
Scott Catalog #'s 1331- 1334 (with a Souvenir Sheet for 1335).
Scott lists these as being published on 30 Oct, 1983. But all my Vietnamese stamp sites I visit list this set as not being published until 5 June, 1985. Stamps all have an imprint date on them of "1983".
But I cannot find a "reason" for the difference. Does anyone have any information on the actual date these were actually issued (and if 1985, why the date imprints are "1983"?), as I've been working on individual pages for my stamp album and I'm stuck on what date to use on this one.
That's what I've been stuck trying to find John... I cannot find the reason for the late issuance, if that is the case, as I'm leaning toward the 1985 as the actual issue date, but I'd like to list the reason for the delay on the page itself.
One site even lists the SC#1331 as "Psuedo-stamp", but that's all it says. (which REALLY has me worried)
I'm even thinking Scott just got this one WRONG, as there was a communication set of stamps issued in 1983..
(Update: Yep, that looks more like it.. As there was a WCY (semi-postal) issued on 1 Nov 83..)
