Keep Postal systems alive, buy stamps and mail often 11 Jul 2012 10:44:28am
I save all the designed pages that I designed for my stamp books in my computer just in case I come up with a new item relating to the stamp involved. Here is an example of an upgraded page for comparison, otherwise I would have had to start from scratch.....save, save, save.
Yes I totally agree - saving everything on a different hard disk partition is easy. With the advent of cheaper USB devices saving data has become a second nature to me - avoids a lot of heartache in case of system failure.

Hi Stampguy,
Are the pages on the disk in PDF (Adobe Acrobat)format? In all probablity they are PDF files therefore without some expensive external programs you can not edit them. I have an older version of Nitro PDF which makes it easier for me to open, edit, extract/input data and transfer to other formats. There are small free utilitites available which can be used to transfer PDF files into other formats like Word and Excel.

Scribus is a pretty decent application which I've dabbled with before mostly to show it could be done and it can indeed be used to great effect. Still, I'm a MS-Publisher guy albeit a 10 year old version of the program.
