Some years ago I came across Nazi issued stamps that could be used for "postage" within Ghettos. I know there are some documented on Warsaw Ghetto covers. What other Ghettos used these or their own stamps for inside-ghetto post. I've heard of a cover that was somehow sent to the "outside world", I think from Lodz that had both genuine Reich stamps as well as the Ghetto cinderella.
Can anyone share more info on this topic?

Some years ago I saw that the Stamps were printed, but finally they not were authorized for the use. The "Kommandatur-Waffen-SS" cancelllated all. I will search into my notes; now with internet and New information maybe I am wrong. I saw material in eBay in MNH as original and the used Stamps are faked.
5 marks,10 marks and 20 marks, "Judenpost" ("Jewish postage") and the image of Mordechai Chaim Rumkowski,"Alteste der Juden, Elder of the Jews in the Ghetto.

re: WWII Ghetto Stamps
Thanks for the info. So the Litzmannstadt Ghetto were obviously for the Lodz Ghetto. I know there were parcel post stamps issued - does anyone know if that was only Lodz? I remember my aunt saying something about special stamps when she was in the Warsaw Ghetto - but I don't remember the details or what they were for (could have been anything such as "food stamps").
Just curious anyway and any input is appreciated.
Thanks
