A Service Dog gives a person with a disability independence. Never approach, distract or pet a working dog, especially when (s)he is in harness. Never be afraid to ask questions to the handler (parent). 02 Jun 2012 12:49:05am
I've got some fine Perfins, not only GB, pre-WWII Canada, but also 3rd Reich, Hindenburgs & Bavaria & Netherlands (predominantly all related pre-1948ish). - now I know some people have no use for perfins but there's a history behind some of the perfins that are amazing. Where do I find reliable material to find out the history behind these perfins? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

re: Reference literature for worldwide perfins -- recommendations?
Kelly---for Canadian perfins there is an excellent catalog--"Canadian Stamps with Perforated Initials"--by Johnson & Tomasson.I have the 4th edition--not sure if there are later editions but if there are it would only add new finds. The data in this book was prepared by the BNAPS Perfin Study Group and the book was published by Unitrade in Toronto--you might check with them--they still might have a copy on thier shelves(as an aside I was into Unitrade a couple of months ago and wandered through the warehouse with one of the staff in search of some old album pages--there were lots of old books ,catalogs on the shelves)The book is softcover and 123 pages in length--the price on mine was $9.95 (1985??)This book does not include the government OHMS perfins.
