Auctions		I don't know if any of our members are aware of these short cuts for various currency signs and other useful signs .all use the ALT key and the numerical key pad, This is for windows.
Keep the Alt key pressed while putting in the numbers.
ALT+0163 = £ GB pound
ALT+0162 = ¢ cent
ALT +0128 = € Euro
ALT+0165 = ¥ Yen
ALT +0189 = ½ half
ALT + 0169 = ©
ALT + 0188 = ¼ quarter
ALT + 0190 = ¾ three-quarters
ALT + 0247 = ÷ divide
ALT + 0174 = ® registered trademark
ALT + 0176 = ° degrees
ALT + 0185 = ¹
ALT + 0179 = ³
ALT + 0178 = ²

Thanks Brian, for those who know html you can also add the entity reference for the symbol as well on our message board.
