Acording to the "International Encyclopedia of stamps" by IPC Magasines Ltd publish in the 70's, Leipzig, was a east German city in Saxony where eight different local posts operated between 1886 and 1909. There was also 2 seperate issu of stamps made by Leipzig in the 20th century. in 1923, several post offices produce emergency postage label during the severe inflation of 23. In 1945 Leipzig was headquarters for west Saxony. They released stamps betweeen 1945 and 1946. Your stamps are probably in those release...
