04:10:43pm | The 2011 U.S. Scott Specialized has a note after 1905a: "Untagged stamps from plate 1 come only Bureau precanceled with lines. Untagged stamps from plate 2 come both without and with Bureau precancel lines; values are for non-precanceled examples." The Durland Plate number catalog seems to indicate that only plate 1 had Bureau precancel lines. Two or three dealers also indicated that they didn't think the 11c railroad caboose came with precancel lines from plate 2. Is the listing in Scott in error?
