Thanks TIm! Valued at $700 in my 2014 Scott book. Does anyone have a 2021 scott value for it? I am considering getting a cert for it and would need to know the latest catalog value I think.
Aren't you being a bit optimistic trying to identify this type of stamp in Scott? There seem to be several possibilities in the SG Commonwealth Catalogue.
I had the same thought as Jill did. So, I pulled out my 2020 SG catalogue. A lot more overprint types -- 13, four of those handstamps which can immediately be eliminated. Of the nine remaining there are only two that are close and one of those is san serif. So, I ID this as SG71 with an overprint of T15. See image below of a scan of part of the catalogue page with overprint T15 and the catalog data with added marks to help with the ID. The value used of SG71 is GBP28. Also below is an image of the original stamp with red lines corresponding to the marked up catalogue.
After reviewing this again. I looked for an SG variety of the One Anna with a large value. The only one that fits is SG56 and I don't think it is a match (alignment or color) but I did the same markup for this entry as I did for SG71. Image below.

Optimistic? More like Scott is all I have. Only three types of overprints are listed there. It does not surprise me that the SG catalog is more detailed.
The stamp was part of a small lot of Sirmoor stamps I purchased for $7 so I feel like I am coming out well regardless of what it turns out to be.
Thank you Banknote for that detailed information. It does seem to be that overprint 15, SG 71.
The 6p green official best I can tell, looks like SG70 (same overprint as the 1a) but the overprint is far from clear. Image below adjusted and marked:
