"E. Rutherford: All science is either physics or stamp collecting."
I have located a copy of this rare reference book (250 copies only) and I will see if I can have the owner check on these overprints. As he states:
"By Ghassan Riachi
The philately of Saudi Arabia can be conveniently divided into four periods: Kingdom of Hejaz (1916-1925), Sultanate of Nejd (1925-1926), Hejaz and Nejd (1926-1933) and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (1934 to present).
The stamps of the Sultanate of Nejd are one of the most difficult areas of philately, and to help collectors, I recently completed a book that focuses on these stamps, titled The Sultanate of Nejd, A Philatelic Manual.
The research for and writing of The Sultanate of Nejd, A Philatelic Manual began in 1999. It has taken more than 16 years to complete the book, due to the difficulty of acquiring the material.
The Sultanate of Nejd, A Philatelic Manual comprises 408 8½-inch-by-11-inch glossy pages and contains 865 color illustrations. This is a limited-edition publication of 250 hardbound books. Of these, 50 books have gilt-edge pages and slipcases.
For additional information about the book, you can contact me at riachi@whc.net or write to Ghassan Riachi, Box 220135, El Paso, TX 79913."

re: Saudi Arabia Nejd ???
The mystery is solved. Here is the response of the author of this definitive book on the stamps of Hejaz and Nejd:
"Good evening Ralph,
I am honored that you are looking forward to reading my book. You are
definitely correct when you say it was a labor of love. It took me nearly
20 years to complete because, as you know, the material is very difficult
to study.
I appreciate you sending me the scans of your stamps. You are correct in
saying "curious" because the minute I saw them, I knew they were
forgeries. I hope you didn't spend a lot for them. I hope I was able to
put your curiosity to rest.
It is always great to find another avid collector of Nejd stamps! Thank
you for reaching out to me. Please stay safe and feel free to contact me
anytime.
Respectfully,
Ghassan"
So very kind of him to share his expertise!
