I thought my days were numbered in December, so I started to de-activate my various internet accounts. Seems I jumped the gun! Doc says I'll live a few more years. BUT with hot flashes! I sat down to dinner this evening, and had to undress a bit for a few minutes! Sheesh eh?

Those hot flushes can be quite something, but better than the alternative
The worst is being woken up by one at four in the morning. It wasn't too bad pre-covid, but now, when one's mind plays tricks in the middle of the night, it is far too easy to convince oneself that it is a raging Covid fever, rather than just a hot flush!

I was hoping those "hot flashes" would last longer! Heat up MY place! They come and go in a flash, hence its name I suppose. They are nice though. I don't know why women don't like them. My brother hated them when his wife had them -furnace up, furnace down. All day long?. I just peel off clothes for a minute or two, then put them back on.
