According to the stamp production credits listed in my Milennium Edition of Linn's World Stamp Almanac the following names are listed: B.E. Pringle - Designer R.L. Miller - Modeler J.S. Creamer, Jr. - Vignette Engraver H.F. Sharpless - Lettering Engraver The signatures on your FDC don't seem to match any of those names. I've attended just a handful of relatively recent first day ceremonies, but I've definitely seen USPS officials sign them. (Perhaps even just the local postmaster?) 1 Member likes this post.
