Schaubek was sent an order in early December. DHL tracking # CD424524737DE it's clearly taking a lot longer. Looks like it still may be in Germany. Anybody know any trick to locating where it is now? I ran the # through USPS and they say they just got a notice it is coming. It's not the seller's fault, it is what it is.
I was told on another discussion board that DHL is now telling shippers eight to ten weeks to North America..
My shop has ordered items that still are on backorder to the Canadian distributor from Lighthouse in Germany. Keep in mind that Germany, as Canada, has gone in and out of lockdown. Lockdowns create backlogs. As well, postal and courier systems worldwide have been overwhelmed.
You'll get it; it will take some time.

I purchased some stamps from a seller in Germany on November 29 last year. The seller who I have done business with in the past says that it would probably be two months. He said that mail is being sent by ship. However, I just received an envelope from Denmark that took 7 days.
I received a delivery from the Philippines a week or so ago. It was posted in March, so 9 months delivery. Australia Post has somewhere between 18-20 million items stockpiled, and is using sea mail as well.
These crazy times are an opportunity for all of us to re-learn patience....
I tried to order some Russia albums from Schaubek earlier but couldn't because they weren't processing. They changed this and then I ordered, figured it'd taker some weeks which is what is happening. The thing that bugs me is the utter lack of any feedback as to where this shipment is. All I know is that USPS is now saying they got notice it was coming. Probably by ship??
The seller is trying and I don't blame them for this.
Schaubek is handling this issue like usual....doing nothing. I sent them a message today again asking for any input/update. I won't get a reply, I'm sure.
Filing a claim with my card company if they continue the silence.
Schaubek is having a claim filed, including the shipping.
My attitude changed abruptly once I realized nothing would happen without outside interference, they have I think one person there speaking English.
The agent seemed familiar with them. This perhaps may not be the first such claim. They have refunded my money. Should it arrive I will immediately repay it.
I have been waiting on some stamps from Germany for over 2 months now. Seller said that mail is going by ship. Must be a rowboat. Alas, No Tracking Number.
I just had a member here tell that the packet I sent a while back - just a few hours away from me here in Florida STILL hasn't arrived. The tracking number shows it stalled in Palm Beach. I could have delivered it faster riding my bike!

"Just one more small collection, hun, really! LoL "
And after a number of similar episodes, I had just the opposite happen this week. I won a cover on EBay last week. The seller promptly mailed it. It was postmarked in Portland, Oregon on February 2nd; I received it Sarasota, Florida on Feb 5th. Go Figure!
It is still in the system somewhere.
Much like my mail from Florida posted in November that has still to arrive in Manitoba, although one posted 16th. January from Florida has arrived.
Postal systems around the world are in chaos because of Covid effects and more so because less passenger jets are moving.
Same thing happened with me
The parcel was shipped through colissimo registered without any tracking from both side. The sender has introduced a complaint with french post but till now he didn't get answer. The parcel was sent on Dec 15th 2020.....
Patience is a virtue, just arrived in Manitoba today, mail from Michigan posted 9th. Dec, so there is hope yet for mail from Florida posted last November, fingers crossed.
Got a notice it had arrived and would be in today's mail. It wasn't.
This happens, it'll be here tomorrow.
I got my Coronavirus shot today, feeling sort of awful.

re: DHL Shipping Time from Europe- Two Months?
I have an E-Bay item that is very late. Do you thinks it's a coincidence that I got the item on the first bid at a major bargain? I wonder if the money will be reimbursed and the item will show up again on another venue and possibly bring a better price. Am I being paranoid? I think this sort of thing happens fairly often!
Last I heard, Schaubek is getting my parcel back. I did not see it of course so maybe the address was obscured but doubt it. DHL is just awful on shipping now.
By contrast I sent an order to Yvert ten days ago. That one arrived in the USA. Yesterday!! Probably I'll get it in a few days.
Schaubek is operating like a DDR company. Pathetic...
I finally received a DHL parcel from Germany. It only took 82 days. I had items shipped on Feb. 17 from New York, Los Angeles and the United Kingdom. The parcel from the UK arrived in 6 days. Those mail in New York and Los Angeles are delayed by the winter storms. No idea when or if I will received them.
Mail today, France 6 days, Sweden 13, USA 29. Local post from 8 miles away 6 days. Still awaiting mail from Florida from November and Israel from 6th December.
This post is an outgrowth of my recent posts re a situation where USPS failed to process a DHL delivery last week. It was on it's way back immediately. They told me my address was messed up. Now I wonder, I have an Yvert album arriving Friday from their handler. Is there some issue here I need to be aware of?
Is USPS trying to reduce any distractions here? Worried about the Yvert delivery. Will that one be delivered?
The idea of another foul up here is really messing me up. Any idea if this may be a new thing?
It arrived. Pack pulled open on one end, half the pages ruined by water leakage, other half fine, binder fine. Some one did this after it arrived here in the USA, I'd bet.
My first time dealing with Yvert, I messaged them to ask about replacement or credit for these. I needed a binder far more than the pages. Assuming I get credit for the damages we're OK.
I got a call this evening from my local carrier office. They say they have a package from Germany holding over a month. My name is on it along with a zip code, nothing much else. Although I was notified that it was going back to Germany it seems they held onto it. I will go in tomorrow to pick it up.
I'm speechless. Glad it's here and now worried about a second order still out there.
Schaubek and dang DHL. Never forget they function like a DDR company.
The package I got was my second order Russia 1945-59. I finally got a reply from Schaubek, they will be 'very careful' next time to be sure this doesn't happen again. I wrote back and told them no more orders unless things change.
I have found two sellers in Europe selling Schaubek, both ship here. To heck with Schaubek. Will post their links if this works out.
