Image Not FoundA warm greeting.My post is due to looking for your opinion regarding the difference in color tone between these 2 stamps.As you can see there is also the internal measurement of the different stamps.Domand: There are different varieties of this 8 cent?

Looks as if the one on the right is faded.

This stamp has 4 possibilities;


---Scott #414 - perf 12 - single line watermark

---Scott #431 - perf 10 - single line watermark

---Scott #470 - perf 10 - NO watermark

---Scott #508 - perf 11 - NO watermark

Thanks for your answer. For what you see, the green color is completely missing, so I thought there was another variety. What do you think ?.

Not a variety: used 100 year old stamps change color over time, exposure to light, soaking, various other environmental conditions can all impact the perceived color. This stamp was also issued in a number of different hues, see here for more info

Thank you very much for your answer, in fact in my catalog this difference is not noticed. At least there are people who are more expert on the subject, who also know how to move in searches to raise any doubts to people less competent on the subject.
