Hi josef57,

The corner combination SW is impossible for a genuine penny black.

The stamps were printed in twenty rows each with twelve stamps.

The first stamp in the top row of the sheet had corner letters AA.

The last stamp in the bottom row of the sheet had corner letters TL.

I suspect this has been cut out from the 1990 GB souvenir sheet for the Stamp World London 90 exhibition:

or it could have been reproduced from an image of the sheet.

Thanks for your very clear answers. Of course, falsifying a stamp by ignoring the letters SW placed in the corners, which do not exist in the originals, is a bit funny. What do you think of the type of paper with those vertical lines?
