I collect the Texas Centennial of Independence first day covers. Last night at the club auction i picked up this San Antonio New Post office dedication..which was a year and a few days after the 1836 FDC's.Image Not Found

Phil:

I bow down before your cover of a post office dedication in the Lone Star State.

If you see any other post office dedication covers for a city in Texas, sell it to me.

Right, i got to see town for half a day in Basic..of course we had to see the Alamo and were surprised how small it is today. I like Austin..it has the small town atmosphere.
