This stamp turned up in a collection I purchased 5 years ago. It looks every bit like # 138, but without the violet or magenta indicated in the cat. Am I missing something?

Thank you!

re: Rhodesia Mystery

It's a fairly common problem that we King George V collectors contend with, a cleaned fiscally used high value. Cleaned so much that the colour has disappeared. The fiscal cancel was violet (red base), so cleaning that has removed the natural red-base colour of the stamp.
