I have had this Christmas seal mint block for years, but I checked the perfs today and it definitely measures perf 12. I do not have the current US Specialized Scott Catalogue from the library, but my old 2001 Specialized shows a value of $65 each stamp. Really?

I would appreciate if someone with a recent catalogue can look up a current price for WX16a?

Thanks in advance,

Linus

My US Specialized is a 2017, so, until someone else comes along with something more recent: amazingly, it still catalogs at $65.00 each.

the 2006 edition of Green's, which is the seal bible, has them at $125 each vs $9 for the more common p 12.5

re: Christmas Seal WX16a Mint Block

Thank you, David. Wow! I now feel the urge to start another binder for all the seals I have stashed away in a plastic shoe box in glassines. I have blocks, singles, covers, and postcards with tied seals. I could probably fill 40 to 50 Vario pages with seal-related stuff that I have accumulated over 40+ years.

The weather has suddenly cooled off here, and turned rainy. The old stamp bug comes back, and to quote the old Iowa football coach, Hayden Fry, "You scratch where it itches." Big Grin
