When checking for info on Ravensburg (from a postmark) I generally get redirected to Ravensbruck. I know the latter was the site of a Concentration camp, but not sure if the two places are the same (e.g. was Ravensbruck changed to Ravensburg after the war) or if they are separate with just similar names.
Ravensburg is in Southern Germany, about 20 km north of Lake Constance. Ravensbrück is part of Fürstenberg, about 90 km north of Berlin. Hence, completely different places.
What you observe is an example of the modern search engines that try to guess what the user wants and - in my experience - usually fail miserably in doing so. Some offer an option for literal searches, but it is rather well hidden.
