My sister found some old pictures and mailed them to me yesterday. Lets see what i remember, folks were skinnier back then until an advanced age. We had nothing, but the young have to be brave,my wifes boss was influential in the Poughkeepsie Knights of Columbus and we had a reception for 90 in their hall for $700, i wonder if we tipped the little old ladies that served the meal ? A fellow i worked with was a musician with a very good trio that played on weekends...we got them for 90 dollars and a meal. My wifes parents in the Netherlands could not travel to be there so she insisted that she would pay for the wedding. And thats the way it was.Image Not Found

Phil,

Interesting historical memories!

...but who are the two ladies in the photo?

I assume the one in white is your lovely wife;

is the other lady her boss?

....or?

Approximately what year?
