If the printing plate was assembled with separate printing slugs to create the letters and values, then it could be an easy error to use a "C" with a cedilla on one stamp per sheet. I have a handful of that stamp but the one I posted was the only one I've noticed with that mark. From gerom's scan it looks like there may be other artifacts worth looking for in that value (and perhaps others). I'll get my magnifying glass out! Dave. Login to Like this post

I would not have known I had this, but thanks to Hockey nut I decided to actually do some stamp collecting and so began to put things into some order at first, when I remembered this post and had a look. 1 Member likes this post.
