This one has apparently been through several collections. It is wrinkled, creased, thin and in generally horrible condition BUT it still has me trying to get it identified! It is likely a revenue of some type. I found a similar issue in a search and it only said Iran. So, any help that you could give me would be appreciated! Thanks.

Hi,

I believe this is a 50 dinar official stamp from 1941, SG O839 / Scott #O61.

Yes, it looks like it was dragged behind the postal delivery van.
Since it is used, I think a short lukewarm water bath and a careful
application of a roller. then after it dries a stamp press, might
just make it look better.
Some years ago I discovered that the caster from a soon to be discarded
sofa provided a nice hand held rolling tool.
My stamp press is a thick book explaining just about all USSC
decisions does the job quite well. I just have to remember that
a stamp being pressed is there a week later.
