One has to remember/decide who needs an invoice straight away, who wants to pay once a month, or two months or three months, who will only pay when they have reached a certain monetary level, who still has more bids in the auction and how many days until they come off, who you have a "special" arrangement with, whether the buyer has stopped buying, or having to guess when the buyer is going to buy again.
As of today I am going to change my Invoicing system.
Every purchase, whether one stamp or 200 stamps, the buyer will be Invoiced for their purchase or their purchase will be added to an existing Invoice within 48 Hours. The Buyer can then decide when he pays. In addition ALL buyers will be sent an updated Invoice at the end of the month and the middle of the month.
I have been considering this for a while as it is becoming difficult for me to keep track of all the who's, why's and wherefore's.

No problem Ian, I think everyone should do something similar. I can't understand how you sellers can keep track anyway!

Those are wonderful, but today I'm afraid they are considered racist. Same as the Red Rose tea monkeys from about the same time period. I really would like to think we saw monkeys rather that black people. But if you check out the Red Rose tea adds one of the monkeys is made up to look and act like Louis Armstrong. It really is very non PC!

Any well thought out plan or system, Ian, should be fine
as it is you, the seller who sets the rules.
If buyer does not like it they need to go elsewhere.
Good luck with it.

I must amend that statement at the beginning of my initial post on this thread to:-
"One has to remember/decide who needs an invoice straight away, who wants to pay once a month."
On review anybody taking up to three months to pay is not "playing the game" as the sellers may have to scroll through 100 to 200 invoices just to reach that invoice that was created three months ago! (never mind the data usage).

As soon as I get an invoice I pay, whether it's for one stamp or a couple dozen. I will not usually remind a seller, my memory gets in the way.
