For a stamp to be from a Japanese Occupied country, does it have to have an overprint?
I have some Japanese stamps that have the dangling tree branches, are they Occupied stamps?
The one on the left is from 1946 and the either one is a commemorative stamp from 1936.
Many Japanese occupation stamps are overprints on Japanese stamps or on stamps of the occupied country but there were also quite a few brand new designs.
