Europe/Other : Polish Cinderella?

Well, at least I got to have a haircut in the Penny Lane barber shop.

11:51:53am		Przedbórz is a city in Poland. There's nothing in my Scott's like that with the 1918 stamps. Image size is about 7/8 x 1-1/4" (22 x 30mm). It was among a mixed bag of hundreds of postage stamps, but so were a few Christmas seals and even an Italian coin!

Hi earwaves, it's a 1918 local stamp from Przedbórz.

I think this one is a forgery as there should be 30 rays in the sky.

Thank you, Nigel! I'll label it a probable fake. I'd like to see a real one. Do you have a scan or a link? On mine, I count 32 rays above the "Rada" phrase and 27 below it.

This is a very useful site for Polish stamps:

On the main page in the menu at the left-hand side, select "Przedbórz" under the heading "World War I Town".

Scroll down the stamp display at the right until you see "11B" which is the stamp you want.
