On January 10, 1960 Jopie Van DerVeer stepped off a steamer in Hoboken New Jersey ...i am pretty sure the Good Lord sent her to look after me. Somehow we are still together after 53 years of marriage. Cheers Jopie, i will make your gin and tonic to celebrate.

Congrats Phil! In 1966 I was a wee lad, and as a US Army brat wound up being shipped out to Izmir, Turkey until 1968! Yea, Turkey in the 1960s was quite an experience!
