Anyone else a Blaze pizza fan ? We were in Albany today and looked for a place for lunch...a place called Blaze pizza looked interesting....they make and bake your pizza while you watch..only takes a couple of minutes ...i never tasted pizza like it before and i was stationed in Southern Italy for 20 months. Tastes great and its not expensive !
We don’t have Four Brothers here. Haven’t had Blaze in a while though, now you’ve got me thinking about it, I predict a stop by there in the very near future!
I like Blaze Pizza, and I always go there on March 14th, PI Day, 3/14. The line will be out the front door, but it moves pretty fast, as they sell pizzas for $3.14, no coupon required!
I checked and there is one not that far away. I looked at the website and reminds me of a Brixx's Wood Fired Pizza and their thin crust pizza. I like crust! I usually make pizza at home with my own dough.
its hard to believe back in 1961 i was stationed in Taranto Puglia..with 620 lira to the dollar we kids were rolling in dough..a plate sized pizza cost 100 lira (16 cents) ..they were not like our pizzas...dough,olive oil and cheese...they shovelled it into the stone oven and bingo..i forgot you could have anchovies if you wanted..i wanted.I worked at a mountain top radio shack...you put in 8 hours and there was no discipline if you showed up for work.
Blaze Pizza normally has a Pi Day (March 14th) special price of $3.14. However, due to the coronavirus, they are extending their offer of one specially-priced $3.14 pizza, to anyone who has their app, through the end of the year. Nice going, Blaze!

re: Blaze Pizza
Ya'll should see what passes for Pizza
here in this part of Texas, or even taste
it.
It smells good, and looks appetizing,
tastes okay but does not compare with
Colosseo's in Port Jeff Station, LINY.
Coloseo's is straight out of the old
Mullberry street in Manhattan's Little
Italy and a thriving business for over
fifty years that I know of.
(Unless one of those chains took it over.)
