Q/ Have you ever held a postcard, thought you understood what you were looking at, turned it over, and got a smack ?
So there I was, passing 50,000 feet at Mach 2, twenty-odd thousand pounds of Commie-killing thrust at my back, when I turned the card over and ... IT'S A GIRLIE CARD !@#$%!
Q/ Got any surprise backs of your own to post?
Cheers,

OK ikey, I will take the bait. Scanned below are two postcards that I found at the postcard show in Iowa City, Iowa earlier this year. I was somewhat surprised where these cards came from. Just for fun, I will make it a contest. No prize involved, but take a guess where these two cards were mailed from, as both were mailed from the same country. Hint: they are NOT from the USA or from Canada. All other countries are possibilities. I will wait a day or so before I show you the backs.
More than one person can guess the same country. Go ahead Stamporama members, and take a shot at it, just for fun. Where were these two mailed from?

.
We'll know for sure if the publisher's imprint has a double-headed eagle saying "yea" and "nay"
The first has that Japanese feel to it, but the building isn't right and the second is all wrong for Japan, eg, that's not Fuji-san, and cypress trees?
I'll go for France.
