The picture depicts three (3) different stamps. Viewing left to right we have: Sweden SC #33 Perforation 13; SC #46 Post Horn on back; and the right side stamp is a ?.

The question mark stamp is the baffler. The stamp is brick red in color and is perforation 13. It meets the characteristics of SC #33. However, the color is quite different than the orange shade on left side stampImage Not Found. Is this an anomaly #color variety" or a listed stamp that can be identified? Any help on this identification issue will be greatly appreciated.

re: Color Quandry? Early Sweden Stamps

I would say that the one on the left is worn/faded and the one on the right is nice and fresh.

re: Color Quandry? Early Sweden Stamps

On the other hand, many of these early stamps were used and printed over a number of years and each print run could be slightly different than the one before: different colours, different paper etc. I would have to check a specialized catalogue like Facit in order to see if that is the case with this particular stamp as well.
